The Ron Jenner Pet Emergency Medical Fund

The Ron Jenner Pet Emergency Medical Fund provides financial assistance to pet owners who find themselves with a pet medical emergency. A pet owner seeking a grant to help with their vet bill due to a medical emergency should contact SAINT after taking their pet for an examination and diagnostic tests and receiving an estimate on treatment cost. The average grant is typically around $200 and is intended to fill a small gap in funding that is keeping a pet from receiving care. Decisions are based upon several factors, including: medical urgency, financial need, available funding, and eligibility. Due to the overwhelming number of requests we receive, we cannot help everyone.

This fund is intended to help with serious, life threatening medical issues. It does not help fund routine preventative care such as vaccines, deworming, and heartworm prevention. If you need help with the cost of spaying or neutering, please fill out our SPAY/NEUTER VOUCHER.

In the event the emergency is immediately life-threatening, the pet owner should direct their vet to contact the SAINT emergency phone to approve financial assistance. If an animal is in need of immediate care, where any delay will put the animal at risk, it is the owner’s responsibility and duty to seek care for the animal immediately. There is no guarantee that SAINT will be able to provide financial assistance.

If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact us at emergency@bhcsaint.org or call 928-985-0663

When people face hardships, so do their pets.

The History Of The Ron Jenner Fund

Ron Jenner was a Fort Mohave business man who had a big heart for animals. Ron began his career by selling pots along Highway 95 in the late 1980’s. He eventually focused his business ambitions in the Fort Mohave area in the 1990’s where he had established Jenner Home Furnishings.

Ron’s love for animals was well known throughout the community. People often approached Ron personally asking for help with their pet’s medical bills, and Ron would graciously lend them that help. He also donated to several animal welfare organizations including SAINT. He always did as much as he could to help animals in need.

After Ron passed away in 2015, his family entrusted SAINT with the task of continuing his legacy of helping animals through The Ron Jenner Pet Medical Emergency Fund. The family continued to donate to this fund until the business closed in 2019. The Ron Jenner Fund is now sustained through the generous donations of individuals throughout the community.

Since this fund’s inception, its donations have been used to help many animals with costly conditions such as mammary cancer, severe gastrointestinal infections, severe gastrointestinal blockage, complicated orthopedic surgeries, and so many more life threatening illness and injuries.

In the last year, The Ron Jenner Fund has so far donated $28,000.00 for companion animals urgent care and life saving procedures. $10,000.00 was raised and donated specifically for Veteran service and companion animals emergency medical. SAINT is very proud of the work that we have done helping these pets and their owners, and we will strive to continue to honor Ron Jenner’s memory and love for animals by helping many more through The Ron Jenner Pet Emergency Medical Fund.

So far, in the year 2023, the Ron Jenner Fund paid more than $28,000 for companion animals urgent care and life saving procedures.
