About SAINT

Saving Animals In Need Together Since 2009

Bullhead City based animal care and rescue assistance

SAINT’s mission is to improve the lives of animals through service programs and education. Our Purpose and Objectives include: Offer a low cost voucher program for area residents to spay and neuter their pets. Help area residents afford life-saving emergency vet care for their pets if the situation arises through the use of the Pet Medical Emergency Fund. Rehome adoptable pets and keep those we can out of shelters by using a network of foster homes. *SAINT is currently awaiting re-approval for 501c3 status to be updated from inactive. At this time all donations are NOT tax deductible.*

We Promise to Love and Care for All Pets as If They Were Our Own

Our all volunteer team prides itself on our love and treatment of animals. We do our best to help out as many animals in need but, as everyone knows, resources are thin and we rely on our volunteers for the great work they do and we rely on our donors to provide us the funding we need so that we may be able to rescue those animals from a very uncertain future.

Donna Doyel

President and Medical Fund Director

Donna has worked as an executive in the financial markets since 1980. She began volunteering at SAINT in 2015 by attending adoption events. In December of 2016, she volunteered to operate the Saving Lives Adoption Program when the founder of SAINT retired from the organization. “I have met amazing people who foster for us and are a big part of the journey. Then meeting the people who fall in love and adopt is always heartwarming and justifies what we do as a team. Since then, I have seen first-hand how impactful and life changing rescue organizations are. I have met trainers who work day in and day out to transform the lives of these former forgotten and unwanted dogs. I have fostered a handful of dogs and even gone on to adopt my own from my Saving Lives Program. I have seen how a dream can turn into a reality.”

Charity Schwalbe

Vice President and Saving Lives/foster Director

A transplant from the Midwest in 2011, Charity has fostered over 200 dogs and cats for many different rescues and shelters across AZ. With her extensive medical background and knowledge, Charity has been called on to foster many dogs and cats needing medical rehab and care until ready for their forever homes. This also included senior and hospice dogs that would have otherwise died in a shelter. She started as a volunteer and hosted countless fundraising events since 2017. Her love and compassion is endless and always ready to tell us to "Go get them and bring them to me". In addition she will jump in her "Dog Saver" vehicle and pick them up - sometimes traveling as far as Phoenix to the Maricopa, Pima or Pinal County Shelters to take them off the "E" list and give them a second chance at life. She is an important part of the SAINT family and has built this Team and our support in our communities.

Linda Corbagian

Treasurer

Linda moved to Bullhead City from California 3 years ago with her husband after retiring from her accounting career. “We love it here and have met awesome people and now joining the Saint team has given me a purpose. I love dogs and to feel like I contribute in any way to giving them a better life is awesome.”
